Della Ruth Durham Hernandez

I'm a photographer, artist, and creative thinker with a love for visual storytelling in all its forms. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Studio Photography and a minor in Art History, where I developed a foundation in visual composition, conceptual thinking, and the relationship between art and the world around us.

While photography is where my formal training began, I've never been particularly interested in limiting myself to one medium. My creative practice spans photography, drawing, painting, mixed media, and whatever else allows an idea to take shape. I love the process of experimentation just as much as the finished product, and I believe some of the most interesting creative work happens when different disciplines intersect.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that good creative work should be thoughtful, intentional, and willing to take a few risks. Whether I'm behind a camera, experimenting with a new medium, or developing a visual concept, I'm always looking for opportunities to make something that feels both meaningful and memorable.
